Reston cybersecurity startup acquired less than a year after its launch
Less than a year after emerging from stealth, a Reston-based startup founded by former Amazon executives has been acquired by one of the fastest-growing companies in Greater Washington.
Fortreum LLC, a cybersecurity assessment firm based in Lansdowne, has bought Kovr.ai, which helps companies doing business with the federal government obtain cybersecurity compliance sign-offs, the two firms announced this week…
…At the time, Kovr employed a small team working out of the Hack Factory accelerator in Reston and said it planned to grow staff as it added customers.
